SUBMISSIONS

The Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution is published twice a year and is dedicated to providing a forum for scholarly research and theoretical writing in the broad field of dispute resolution. We invite article submissions on a wide range of subjects, including mediation, arbitration, negotiation, and the latest developments in ADR. The Journal seeks to reflect the vibrant, intellectually stimulating atmosphere of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Submission Guidelines

  • Citations in articles should adhere to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (18th ed. 2005).
  • While the Journal has no minimum or maximum page restrictions, most articles are typically about 25-35 pages.
  • To be considered for publication, please submit two copies of your complete manuscript to the address below:

Please include a cover letter with your name, school or affiliation, email address and telephone number. Please also provide a recent resume/CV.

Electronic submissions

Electronic submissions must be submitted in Microsoft Word format and sent via email to the Editor-in-Chief at CJCR@yu.edu. We strongly recommend that with electronic submissions, you also submit a hard copy of your article. Please provide a recent resume/CV with your electronic submission or mail us a hard copy.

Unfortunately, we are unable to return your manuscripts. In addition, the Journal reserves the right to keep the reasons for its publication decisions confidential.
